My friend went to Africa to do some volunteer work over the summer months and had the opportunity to go on a short safari while there. As the Jeep stopped for a moment, this lion cub quickly ran over to lay in the shade provided by the Jeep. Literally looking straight down upon this animal, she managed to capture this shot of pure innocence. The cub appeared to be so carefree and content, with little care in the world. It almost looked as if it wanted her to hop out of the car and play for a while.
